Chumily.com

My new friend Peter Chiong shared with me a wonderful Web 2.0 application just before the Golden Year of the Pig.

After realizing the potentials of the application, I went ahead to launch a web site called Chumily.com - a concatenation of the words: Chum and Family as a FREE community project.

The objective is to encourage  as many people as possible to share their videos, photos and blogs/webpages online and to to chum with one another as a family of friends and buddies.

You can also read the latest NEWS on Chumily.com, all for FREE..

What makes Chumily.com different from portals like MySpace.com is that members get paid for their chumming. All you need to get paid is to register your Google Adsense Account in your Chumily.com User Profile.
The more you promote and share your Videos, Webs/Blogs and Photos with your chums, the more pay-per-click income you will receive from Google Adsense.

I welcome you to join the Chumily.com family and make it a site that you will be proud of sharing.

Google PageRank

The PageRank which Google assigned a numeric value, represents how important a page is on the web.

Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be. In addition, the importance of the page that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is.

It is with great pleasure that I discovered today that the ClicknPortal.com home page has reached a PageRank of 3, less than 3 months from the launch of the Arbulator on 21th. November 2006.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my supporters and especially my ClicknPortal customers and affiliates for helping me to achieve this wonderful feat in such a short time.

Chance or Design?

Before I became a Christian some 21 years ago, I was an “evolutionist”. As a scientist by training (M.Sc.), my inquring mind simply did not allow me to accept by faith the creationist theory of the Genesis story of the Bible.

By the grace of God, He led me to stumble upon the writing of Anselm, an 11th. century monk. His axiom: “For I do not seek to understand so that I may believe; but I believe so that I may understand. For I believe this also, that unless I believe, I shall not understand.” completely altered my view of God and the Bible.

I thank God for my enlightenment and it is my hope that many more would also be enlightened through the articles written in this humble blog. The first of which is:

Is Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution believable?

Let us imagine a special typewriter that can type randomly by itself. It has with 50 keys, comprised of 26 capital letters, 10 numbers, one space bar, and 13 symbols for punctuation, etc.How long do you think would it would take to correctly type the sentence “THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION IS BELIEVABLE?”.
To obtain the answer, let us first consider the first word of the sentence, which reads: “THE”. According to the Multiplication Rule of Probability, the chance of correctly typing the three designated letters “THE” from possibilities is 1 in 50 x 50 x 50, which equals 125,000. At a rate of one strike per second, the average time taken to make 125,000 strikes is 34.72 hours. The chance of randomly typing the ten keys (nine letters and one space) in the right sequence for the two words “THE THEORY” is 1 in 50 x 50 … ten times (50 to the power of 10). This is 1 chance in 9.76563E+16 or more than 9 quadrillion or 9 followed by 16 zeros!  There are 31,536,000 seconds in a year, so the average time taken in years to make 9.76563E+16 strikes at the rate of one strike per second would be 3,096,659,373 or 3 trillion years! The time taken on the average to correctly type the whole of sentence, which contains 40 letters, punctuation, and spaces, would be 50 to the power of 38 divided by 31,536,000 (seconds in a year), which is 1.1536E+57 or more than 1 trillion quadrillion quadrillion  quadrillion years!
By comparison, the evolutionists’ age of the Earth is only 4.6 billion years, and the evolutionists’ age of the universe is only almost 15 billion years.

More Probability Theory

When we apply the same probability theory to the correct arrangement of a DNA molecule, a similar situation is seen, as per the following quotation:‘When we come to examine the simplest known organism capable of independent existence, the situation becomes even more fantastic. In the DNA chain of the chromosome of the bacterium E. coli, a favorite organism used by molecular biologists, the [DNA] helix consists of 3-4 million base pairs. These are all arranged in a sequence that is ’meaningful’ in the sense that it gives rise to enzyme molecules which fit the various metabolites and products used by the cell. This unique sequence represents a choice of one out of 102,000,000 alternative ways of arranging the bases! We are compelled to conclude that the origin of the first life was a unique event, which cannot be discussed in terms of probability.’Notice that this refers only to the correct arrangement of already formed bases. Harold J. Morowitz, Professor of Biophysics at Yale University, has taken into account the covalent bond energies required to actually form such a DNA molecule. He arrives at a probability figure for the spontaneous formation of one complete bacterium of Escherichia coli in the history of the universe, of less than one chance in 10 to the power 100 billion (which can be written 10^100,000,000,000).Such numbers are far too large for most people to comprehend. However, the late Sir Fred Hoyle, who was Professor of Astronomy at Cambridge University and was not a Christian, illustrated the point this way: ’Now imagine 10^50 blind persons [that’s 100,000 billion billion billion billion billion people—standing shoulder to shoulder, they would more than fill our entire planetary system] each with a scrambled Rubik cube and try to conceive of the chance of them all simultaneously arriving at the solved form. You then have the chance of arriving by random shuffling [random variation] of just one of the many biopolymers on which life depends. The notion that not only the biopolymers but the operating program of a living cell could be arrived at by chance in a primordial soup here on Earth is evidently nonsense of a high order.Another of Professor Hoyle’s very expressive analogies is that the chance that even the simplest self-reproducing life forms might have emerged in this way (i.e. by evolutionary processes) is comparable with the chance that ‘a tornado sweeping through a junk-yard might assemble a Boeing 747 from the materials therein.’.

Conclusion

One question which inevitably comes up in a discussion of evolution versus creation is what is the origin of God?

If God is the creator, then who created God?

From a purely scientific standpoint, it is easy to demonstrate that matter cannot be eternal in nature. The universe is expanding from what appears to be a beginning point in space/time, which appears to be a one time event. Hydrogen is the basic fuel of the cosmos, powering all stars and other energy sources in space. If the fuel of the universe has been used eternally, that fuel will eventually be depleted, but the evidence is that the cosmological gas gauge, while moving toward “empty,” is yet a long way from being there—a condition incompatible with an eternal universe. The second law of thermodynamics insists that the cosmos is moving toward a condition of disorder, sometimes referred to as “heat death.” Even in an oscillating universe, things ultimately run out of energy and “die.” All of these evidences, show that matter cannot be eternal. However, this does not mean that we automatically accept the hypothesis that God is the Creator. Why is it not equally invalid to suggest that God has always been? The problem here is that many people have a mistaken concept of God. If we conceive of God as physical, anthropomorphic (like man) being, the question of God’s origin is valid. However, such a concept of God is alien to the Bible and to common sense. Consider the description of God from  John 4: 24 - God is a Spirit…

The debate on evolution versus creation is a most challenging one.
While neither side can conclusively prove who is right or wrong,  it is hope that the reader will come to his or her conclusion by considering the mathematical probabilities.

Is the theory of evolution believable? You decide.

About Me

“Success is a journey and not a destination. You don’t have to reach it. You just have to keep going at it.”
- Kee Sin LOO.

Dear Friends,

If I could share just one thing with you about me it would be this - CHANGE!

If you are unhappy with what you are doing, then do something about it - CHANGE. You may ask what to change? Ourselves!

Although it is not found in the Holy Bible, there is truth in the saying: “God helps those who help themselves”. Blaming gets us nowhere and many times, external factors are not responsible for our success. “You cannot pursue after success, but you can become the person that success is attracted to” - Jim Rohn.

Aside from that I’m a firm believer on the importance of one’s CHANGE process. As such, I place lots of emphasis on spiritual and personal development and leadership program. When we change, results change!

The best thing about having my own businesses is working with a team of like-minded international business entrepreneurs. We encourage and motivate one another to move forward in the challenging and exciting world out there. We guide people to their success, achieving what they have been looking for. There is nothing more rewarding than building people. The satisfaction is like seeing a seed growing into a tree.

For me, it all started when I realized that I’ve traded off many important aspects like freedom, security and time with loved ones in exchange for earning money. For more than 20 years in the IT industry, I seldom had time for my own life!

When I was in between jobs or when my traditional businesses were not doing well, guess what, my income stopped! I constantly asked myself: “Is this worth it?”. When I was introduced to these networking businesses, I immediately saw the options that would supplement my family’s income, yet still allow me to pursue my dreams.

I started my first networking business part-time in early 2003 and after just 2 months in the business, I decided that this is the lifestyle that I want to lead. I have found that this is a perfect combination as I now feel the total balance in my life.

I have since transformed myself from being a local bucket carrier to a global pipeline builder. The opportunities for growth, taking on challenges, meeting new international friends, earning multiple streams of recurring income, the freedom to choose who to meet, where, when and what to do, and more quality time for family and friends have enriched my life tremendously!

Thanks to the CHANGE that I made some years ago, I have now branched into sports arbitrage trading and running my own Internet and Affiliate Marketing program.
The Internet is the largest goldmine of opportunities in the world if you know how to mine it. I have been at it for sometime now and I would love to share my experience with you.

My mission is to help others to live their life prayerfully, positively and powerfully with their home based businesses. I invite you to make your CHANGE today to create a brighter future for yourself and your loved ones!

So why just carry buckets when you can also build pipelines ?

“You are surrounded by simple, obvious solutions that can dramatically increase your income, power, influence and success. The problem is, you just don’t see them.”
- Jay Abraham.

Now that you know more of me then I know about you, you may wish to start communicating with me by Email to get acquainted.

Yours sincerely,
Kee Sin
