One of the easiest healthiest and delicious ways to cook tilapia. This will be added to my rotation. Served with baked sweet potato and sautéed spinach.

This was absolutely delicious! Sautéed it with a little olive oil instead of broiling it.

Kids all raised eyebrows on this one. Loved the spice! Made it with coleslaw to cool things down. Saving this one in my file.

I liked recipe. Im recently counting my calories so it worked great for me. Only one thing I have changed. Instead of rubbing olive oil over fish I rubbed lemon juice and let it sit for a few min.

My family loved this super spicy fish. I used the leftovers for fish tacos which turned out great!

This is the fastest fish recipe I think I've ever made. The fish is on the table in 10 minutes. Even better, I tried it on my sister, who dislikes fish, and she loved it! I used a little less cumin and red pepper flakes, and rubbed it on three fillets. Awesome recipe!

This is a keeper recipe. It tasted fabulous, quick and easy to make, little mess, and healthy! Not too many recipes like that! I altered recipe by baking rather broiling. Baked at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until flaky.

I absolutely loved the taste of the tilapia. It was just the right spice mix for me. A quick and easy way to prepare the fish. Since the fish was rubbed in oil, I cooked mine in a non stick frying pan. Will definitely make again.

This is a favorite of ours and I make it frequently. The spices can be mixed ahead and stored to make it even quicker to assemble. While it's in the broiler I either toss a salad or make coleslaw. Dinner is on the table in 10 minutes. Hard to beat that, plus it is delicious!

We really enjoyed this recipe (and my bf doesn't usually like blackened fish). I found that putting some extra olive oil on top of the fish as it cooked helped (otherwise the spices stayed kind of dry). I probably didn't use a full tablespoon initially. I broiled for about 10 minutes total. Only change I'd make is a little less salt, and maybe a tiny bit less cayenne. We will make it again!

Made this last night. It was really good. I would lessen the salt though. I think the spice mix would be really good on chicken as well. Will definitely make it again. So easy. Good for a work night with a big salad.

Very good and super easy recipe! I doubled the spices, but next time I won't double the salt since it was a little salty. I also used less oil.

This recipe was very quick and easy. I mixed 1 tsp. Of pan-searing flour with the spices and pan-seared it rather than broiled. I served the tilapia over a romaine salad topped with garlic expressions dressing. This was good but with so many other great tilapia recipes out there I doubt I'd make this one again.

This is one of my staple recipes - great to make when I don't have much on hand and want something quick. I usually double the amount of spices because I like a lot of flavor. Highly recommend.

We always cut tilapia fillets in two lengthwise, to avoid overcooking the thin sides. Made spice blend to recipe. Sprayed fish with oil, scattered some fresh thyme over the fillets, then the spices. Pretty tasty. Served with garlic smashed potato & baby spinach sautéed with leftover shallot.

It was quick and easy enough, worth making again, but nothing spectacular.

Strictly "ok". The spice mix was good, but the fish was still moderately bland somehow. It was certainly an easy, quick meal to make, but I won't make it again -- we like more flavor in our seafood.

We used prepackaged blackening spice (had all the same spices the recipe calls for) and added cumin. This was really good and super fast.

Made this last night and it went over very well. I used mahi mahi--broiled for about 10-12 minutes and it still didn't blacken, though it was very good. This was very spicy, which my household enjoys. I served alongside sauteed spinach seasoned with red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper, and roasted red potatoes. I will definitely make this dish again.

On a quest to find more tilapia recipes, CL came through yet again with this one. Since I can't handle blackened food, I baked it in the oven. Cut way back on the red pepper (less than 1/8 tsp) and it still had a kick. Served with roasted sweet potato chunks with onions and steamed asparagus, it was total yum. My husband was still talking about it the next day!!

Quick, easy, and tasty. Great for quick meal after coming home from work. Had it with grape tomatoes, cucumber slices and bread. Couldn't be better. And even my very fussy daughter liked it. Also, I didn't have red pepper once so I tried smoked paprika instead and it was great.

This was a delicious fish. I halved the cayenne and it still had plenty of heat. I also used the rub on only 3 fillets and cooked it in a cast iron skillet with a little butter.
