The Scavenger Hunt Walkthrough - Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide - IGN (2024)

So far, Sulley has revived an old tradition in "Monster Movie Night," celebrated Dreamlight Valley's hardest workers in "Villager of the Month," and taught Vanellope about power in "The Power of Knowledge." Now, in Sulley's final Friendship Quest, "The Scavenger Hunt," he has created an elaborate set of clues for some fun-loving Villagers to follow.

This Quest unlocks once you have reached Friendship Level 10 with Sulley. This guide will help you find each clue and help the participants make their way through Sulley's "monstrously" tricky Scavenger Hunt!

Gather The Participants

Talk to Sulley to learn that he has come up with a scavenger hunt but is looking for Valley residents who want to participate. Talk to the following Villagers to ask if they are interested:

• Olaf
• Stitch
• Vanellope von Schweetz
• (Optional) Donald Duck

Donald refuses to join, but the other three are eager to participate. Head inside Mike and Sulley's House to listen to the rules of the Scavenger Hunt. Sulley realizes that Olaf, Stitch, and Vanellope might need some help solving his tricky clues, so he asks you to participate in the scavenger hunt as well.

Solve The Scavenger Hunt Clues

Clue #1

The first clue says: "In royal halls with many doors, you'll find what you're looking for."

Head to the Dream Castle and talk to Olaf once inside. He's found the next clue, but is having trouble figuring out what it means.

Clue #2

The second clue says: "Lo and behold, search near the wizard made of gold."

Examine the statue of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice located on the top floor of the Dream Castle. The third clue is the piece of paper lying on the ground behind the statue. Talk to Olaf once you have picked it up.

Clue #3

The third clue says: "Go under the cascade and don't be afraid."

Olaf decides to stay behind in the Dream Castle. You, however, need to keep going! Go to the Sunlit Plateau and walk underneath the waterfall - aka the "cascade" - to enter the Vitalys Mines. Inside, talk to Stitch who, like Olaf before him, is stuck on the next clue.

Clue #4

The fourth clue says: "Underground, there's a babbling pool. Quick, cast your hook!"

Cross the stream inside the Vitalys Mines and climb up the short ramp to the pool at the base of the underground waterfall. Fish in the bubbling patch that appears there to catch the fifth Clue, then give it to Stitch.

Clue #5

The fifth clue says: "Hope your veggies aren't stemmy when you visit Chez _ "

Again like Olaf, Stitch decides to stay behind, but you must keep going. Go to Chez Remy and head inside to talk to Vanellope. Similar to the other two participants, she is stuck on the next clue - which happens to be the very final one!

Final Clue

The final clue says: "My secret can only be revealed as I simmer with a POWERful citrus fruit!"

Of course, you learned during Sulley's previous Friendship Quest that Lemons can be used to power a clock. If you don't have a lemon, you can pick one from a tree in the Forest of Valor or Glade of Trust.

At Chez Remy, cook the lemon together with the Final Clue to reveal the Decoded Final Clue. Talk to Vanellope, but, surprisingly, she doesn't want to claim the victory herself - she wants you to win since you worked so hard. Give the Decoded Final Clue to Sulley to be declared the official winner of the Scavenger Hunt!

Build The Sulley Statue

Talk to Vanellope again to learn that her, Olaf, and Stitch are making a statue of Sulley to thank him for everything he's done for the Valley. They will need your help gathering the following ingredients:

• 25 Purple Flowers - the following flowers all count for this task:
  • Purple Falling Penstemon in the Plaza
  • Purple Rising Penstemon in the Peaceful Meadow
  • Purple Hydrangea on Dazzle Beach
  • Purple Marsh Milkweed in the Glade of Trust
  • Purple Bell Flowers in the Forest of Valor
  • Purple Impatiens in the Forgotten Lands
• 15 Blueberries
  • Blueberries can be picked from bushes on Dazzle Beach and in the Forest of Valor
• 2 Boiled Eggs
  • Eggs can be bought at Chez Remy for 220 Star Coins per Egg. Cook each of the eggs separately with no other ingredients to make two Boiled Eggs.

Purple Flowers found on Eternity Isle - Purple Cactus Flower and Purple Fly Trap - will NOT count towards this Quest!

Once you have all the necessary materials, bring them to Stitch. He'll build the Sulley Statue, then ask you to place it anywhere in the Valley. Once it's placed, take a picture of Sulley next to his Statue to celebrate the occasion.

Talk to Sulley one last time to wrap up the Quest. He'll even give you a clay version of the Sulley Statue to decorate your Valley. Sulley is happy with his new role in the Valley and promises to come up with lots more event ideas in the future!
